Affirm spinout for B2B net 30/60/90 terms — embedded checkout, AI underwriting, and non-recourse AR.

Overview

Resolve is a US B2B "Net Terms" / BNPL platform that spun out of Affirm in 2019. Founded by Chris Tsai and Brian Nguyen, the company received minority equity participation from Affirm at launch and has since raised approximately $85–96M across a $11M seed (November 2019), a $60M Series A (May 2021, Initialized Capital lead), and a $25M Series A extension (December 2021, Insight Partners lead). Resolve provides B2B merchants embedded checkout with Net 30/60/90 terms, real-time AI-based KYB and credit decisioning, and non-recourse accounts receivable automation — Resolve pays the merchant upfront and assumes the credit risk on the business buyer. The platform integrates with major ecommerce platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Magento 2) and accounting tools (QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Xero, Sage Intacct), plus a direct REST API and SDK for custom implementations. Resolve targets US B2B merchants — wholesalers, manufacturers, distributors, and B2B ecommerce — and as of 2026 serves 15,000+ businesses. An April 2026 partnership with CoastalPay extended Resolve's distribution. Pricing is semi-transparent: a risk-based advance fee per invoice plus a monthly platform fee (historically $99–$499/month, now scoped on request). Notable customers include TrueCable, DocShop Pro, Trenchless Supply, SS&SI Dealer Network, and Nandansons International. Resolve holds SOC 2 Type II attestation. Geography is US only.
