Overview

Yuno is a global payments orchestration platform founded in 2022 by Juan Pablo Ortega and Julián Núñez — both alumni of Colombian unicorn Rappi — and headquartered in Bogotá, Colombia with offices in New York, Singapore, and Qatar. It provides enterprises with a single API that connects to 1,000+ payment methods, 300+ PSPs, and fraud prevention tools across 200+ countries, replacing the need to manage dozens of individual provider integrations. Yuno operates as the operating system of programmable global payments, sitting as an intelligent orchestration layer above existing PSPs (Stripe, Adyen, PayPal, Checkout.com, etc.) while providing smart routing, automatic retries, network tokenization, and AI-powered optimization. The platform's core capabilities include intelligent multi-PSP routing (optimizing by location, cost, or success rate), a no-code checkout builder for localized regional experiences, built-in fraud management integrations, reconciliation automation, and subscription billing. The NOVA AI agent suite autonomously recovers failed payments via phone and WhatsApp outreach (up to 75% recovery rate on answered calls), while the Payments Concierge agent monitors and adjusts routing rules in real time. Yuno's deep LATAM roots are a key differentiator: with 180+ regional providers in Latin America alone (including Mercado Pago, PIX, PagSeguro, EBANX, dLocal), it can enable new market entry in weeks rather than months. Yuno targets mid-market and enterprise merchants in retail, ecommerce, travel, mobility, gaming, telecom, SaaS, and crypto verticals. Notable customers include McDonald's (Arcos Dorados LATAM), Rappi, Avianca, inDrive, and Viva Aerobus. The company has raised $35M in total funding ($10M seed March 2022; $25M Series A March 2024) at a $150M valuation from DST Global Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Tiger Global, Kaszek Ventures, and Monashees. Yuno received PTSP certification from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) in April 2026.
